Ten minutes from signing up to your team answering one number.
This is the whole path from an empty account to a team answering one WhatsApp number. It takes about ten minutes, and most of that is waiting for history to sync.
- Create a workspace at app.majlisdesk.com. The person who signs up is the owner.
- Connect a WhatsApp number: Settings → Phones → Add, then scan the QR from WhatsApp on your phone under Linked Devices.
- Wait for the first sync. Recent chats and messages appear over a few minutes — a busy number takes longer.
- Invite your team by email. They set their own password; they never need the WhatsApp number itself.
- Assign your first conversation so the room learns the habit on day one.
Keep the phone that owns the number charged and online. MajlisDesk connects as a linked device, exactly like WhatsApp Web — if the phone is off for days, WhatsApp ends the link.
What to do next
- Create two or three labels — more than that on day one and nobody uses any of them.
- Save your five most-sent replies as canned replies.
- Decide who owns the unassigned queue, because unowned means unanswered.
