FAQ
Questions, answered.
The things teams ask before moving their WhatsApp onto a shared inbox.
Can multiple people use one WhatsApp number?
Yes — that is the whole point of MajlisDesk. Connect your existing number once and your entire team works from one shared inbox: assign a chat to a person, reply, and add labels, without anyone stepping on each other.
Is a shared WhatsApp inbox against WhatsApp’s terms?
No. You connect your own number the way WhatsApp Web does and reply to people who message you — ordinary business use. MajlisDesk does not send bulk unsolicited messages, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
No — no API application, no Business Solution Provider, and no per-message fees. You connect your existing number by scanning a QR, exactly the way WhatsApp Web works.
How is this different from WhatsApp Web?
WhatsApp Web is one person on one screen where everyone sees every chat and anyone can reply. MajlisDesk adds the team layer on top — assignment, labels, tickets, internal notes, and email in the same inbox — so five people can run one number without colliding.
Will my WhatsApp number get banned?
No third-party tool can promise zero risk. You connect your own number by QR (the same channel as WhatsApp Web), the browser panel is read-only and never sends messages, and MajlisDesk is built for replying to real conversations — not blasting cold lists. Used as a team inbox, your number behaves as it does today.
What happens to my messages if I cancel?
Your history stays yours — export it any time, and disconnecting a number simply stops new messages from arriving. Nothing is held hostage.
Does it work in Arabic?
Your conversations, yes — customers write in Arabic and messages, search, notes and labels all handle it exactly as you would expect. The app’s own interface is in English today; a fully Arabic, right-to-left interface is being built, and this website is already bilingual.
