Refunds and cancellation
Effective 15 August 2026
Cancelling
Cancel from Settings → Billing at any time, or email support@majlisdesk.com and we will do it for you. There is no notice period, no cancellation fee, and nobody to talk to first.
What happens when you cancel
Your subscription stops renewing and your workspace stays on its paid plan until the end of the period you have already paid for. You are not cut off on the day you cancel. When the period ends the workspace moves to the free plan; your conversations are still there and still readable.
Monthly plans
Plans are billed monthly in advance. We do not automatically refund part of a month, because you keep full access for the whole of it. If you cancelled and did not use the remaining time, ask — see “When we refund” below.
Extra mailboxes
Extra mailboxes are billed monthly at $1 each and cancel the same way. Removing one stops the charge from the next period; the mailbox stays connected until then.
The free trial
The 14-day Pro trial takes no card and charges nothing. If you do nothing at the end of it, the workspace moves to the free plan. A trial that ends is not an invoice.
When we refund
We refund in full, without argument, if you were charged after cancelling, charged twice, or charged for a workspace you never used. We also refund the current period if the product did not do what this website says it does and we could not put it right for you. Ask within 30 days of the charge and we will not ask you to justify it.
How to ask
Email support@majlisdesk.com from the address on the account, or message the number on our contact page. Say which workspace and which charge. We answer within one business day and refunds are issued to the original payment method.
How long it takes
We process approved refunds within 3 business days. Your bank or card issuer then decides when it appears on your statement, which is usually 5 to 10 business days and is outside our control.
Your data
Cancelling does not delete anything. If you want your workspace and its conversations deleted, say so and we will delete them — see the Privacy page for what that covers and how long backups persist.
Payments and chargebacks
Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record, whose name may appear on your statement. If something looks wrong, contact us before raising a chargeback — it is almost always faster, and we would rather fix it than dispute it.
