Connect WhatsApp to Claude.
Add MajlisDesk to Claude as a custom connector and Claude can read your team’s WhatsApp chats, email threads and tickets, within your own permissions. It takes about two minutes.
The server address
https://app.majlisdesk.com/mcpThe same address for every assistant. You sign in to MajlisDesk when you connect; there is no key to copy.
Connect it
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
- Give it any name, such as MajlisDesk, and paste the server address above as the remote MCP server URL.
- Leave the OAuth client ID and secret empty: the server registers Claude by itself.
- Press Connect. A MajlisDesk window opens: sign in with your password and authenticator code.
- Approve the connection. Leave replies off unless you want Claude to be able to answer customers.
- In a new Claude chat, check that the MajlisDesk connector is switched on, then ask your first question.

Reply (off unless you allow it)

What it does
- Reads the chats, email threads, tickets and contacts you can read in MajlisDesk, and nothing else. A teammate who connects sees their own view, not yours.
- Signs in with your MajlisDesk password and authenticator code. No API key is created, copied or stored by hand.
- Reads photos and documents, and voice notes as text.
- Replies on WhatsApp only if the person approving the connection allows it, and only where the customer wrote first.
What it never does
- Start a conversation, or message someone who has not written to you. Replies only.
- Send to many chats at once. One message to one chat, every time.
- Post in a group unless someone in your team switched on "Allow AI to post" for that group.
- Act anonymously. Every message it sends is stored with the person and the connection that sent it, and you can remove the connection in Settings at any time.

Which plans
- Reading works on every MajlisDesk plan. Replying needs a plan that includes sending (Starter or Pro).
- Claude: paid Claude plans (Pro, Max, Team, Enterprise).
- ChatGPT: Plus, Pro or Business, with developer mode on. The Go and Free plans cannot add connectors at all; that is a limit of the ChatGPT plan.
Questions
Which Claude plans can add it?
Paid Claude plans: Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. Custom connectors are not available on the free plan.
Do I need an API key or a client secret?
No. Leave those fields empty. Claude registers itself with MajlisDesk and you approve it by signing in.
Can Claude reply to customers?
Only if you allow replies when approving the connection, and then only one message to one chat where the customer wrote first. Without that, Claude can read but not send.
Why does it ask for my authenticator code?
Connecting gives Claude a long-lived way into your inbox, so MajlisDesk asks for the same two factors as signing in to the app.
