Connect email
Gmail or Zoho in the same room as WhatsApp.
A customer who emails on Monday and messages on Wednesday is one person. Connecting a mailbox puts both in the same room, worked with the same tools.
Connecting a mailbox
- Go to Settings → Mailboxes → Connect.
- Choose Gmail or Zoho and authorise with that account.
- New mail begins arriving in the shared inbox. Replies send from your connected address.
How it behaves
- Email threads can be assigned, labelled, noted and ticketed exactly like WhatsApp chats.
- Where the same contact exists on both channels, their conversations sit together.
- Replies go out from your own address, so the customer sees you and not a forwarding relay.
Use a real mailbox rather than a forwarding alias. Forwarding is one-way — you cannot reply from an address that only forwards, and threading breaks.
